Jakarta, CNN Indonesia -After a year of waiting, the Friends reunion program is finally confirmed to air on May 27 with a series of well-known guest stars, from BTS to Justin Bieber .
The main cast of Friends, including Jennifer Aniston, announced the live broadcast time of their reunion program through social networks.
Through Instagram, Aniston uploaded a teaser video showing the five main characters of Friends being highlighted from behind when walking together.
"It's official! #FriendsReunion premieres May 27 on HBO Max," wrote Aniston in the caption column.
HBO Max also posted a similar announcement via Instagram. Not only that, they also uploaded an Instagram Story showing a list of guest stars.
In that list, there are the names of big stars, including David Beckham, Justin Bieber, BTS, James Corden, Cindy Crawford, Cara Delevingne, Lady Gaga, Elliot Gould, and Kit Harington.
There are also Larry Hankin, Mindy Kaling, Thomas Lennon, Christina Pickles, Tom Selleck, James Michael Tyler, Maggi Wheeler, Reese Witherspoon, and Malala Yousafzai.
The project titled Friends: The Reunion has actually been prepared since 2019. However, the production team only revealed it in February 2020 through a photo featuring Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, Matthew Perry, and David Schwimmer.
Friends: The Reunion directed by Ben Winston. He is the executive producer of the television show The Late Late Show with James Corden and has directed the television documentary One Direction: A Year in the Making.
